Synopsis:
Dr. Hugo Archibald has brought home the latest in a long line of exotic creatures, a chimpanzee named Jennie who is learning sign language. Since the day she arrived from Africa, Jennie has been accepted as part of the family, especially by 11-year-old Andrew, who develops a close friendship with the chimp. Jennie plays baseball, loves comic books, and is a true confidant to Andrew, who doesn't always see eye to eye with his dad. Together, Jennie and Andrew will embark on a magical adventure that brings the whole family together.
